The tournament, organized by the Asd Bardolino Champions Cup in collaboration with the Department of Sports of the city of Bardolino and ASD Baldo Junior Team Cavaion Veronese – a company that groups together 5 youth sectors in the area including those of Bardolino – will take place on 9/10/11 May 2025 at the Municipal Sports Center
Friday March 21th 2025
Competition for an Overseas Scholarship sponsored by Lions Club International through the L.C. Garda Benacus Service at the Scuola Alberghiera Istituto I.P.S.A.R Luigi Carnacina in Bardolino. Eligible participants include deserving students from both the culinary arts and food service sectors. Start time: 10:00 AM.
Tuesday April 22th 2025
Starting at 6:00 PM, a press conference will be held to present the tournament to political, sports, and social authorities at the terrace of the PARK HOTEL GERMANO SUITES & APARTMENTS in Bardolino. Followed by a buffet/aperitif.
Friday, Saturday, Sunday, May 2nd, 3rd, and 4th 2025
The 10th International Preliminary Tournament – Memorial A. Gianfranceschi and A. Gradizzi will take place, featuring 30 teams, including 9 international ones and 16 professional teams. The winner will advance to the Città di Bardolino – Memorial G. Chincherini. The complete program is available at this link.
Friday May 9th 2025
In the afternoon, all teams will arrive and be accommodated in 16 hotels in Bardolino.
8:00 PM: Parade and presentation of all teams in the square by the lake and in front of the Town Hall, accompanied by the anthems of each club. An exchange of greetings and pennants with the Municipal Administration will take place. A large stage and a giant screen will be set up in Piazzetta Preonda for three days. The event will conclude with the Champions League Anthem performed by the brass band GIPFELBLECH from Lana – Merano, followed by a concert.
9:30 PM: Technical meeting with all coaches and delegation leaders at the conference hall of PARC HOTEL GRITTI. A welcome reception will follow.
Saturday May 10th 2025
8:45 AM Kick-off of the qualification rounds until 12:00 PM.
12:15 PM – 1:30 PM Lunch at various city restaurants and/or food stands.
1:35 PM Gathering of all teams at Parco Villa Bottagisio along the lakeside.
1:45 PM Parade departure through the historic center to the Sports Center, with the participation of the local Junior Band.
2:15 PM Greeting from the Mayor and performance of the Italian National Anthem.
2:30 PM Resumption of qualification matches until 7:30 PM.
8:00 PM Awards ceremony in Piazza Preonda for artworks and projects created by 4th and 5th-grade students of Bardolino and Calmasino primary schools on the theme: “Lo Sport è…” with part of the Groups – Park Hotels contribution from the Germano Chincherini family donated to charity.
8:30 PM Scholarship presentation for an internship in Ireland by Lions Club International to one or two deserving students of the local Scuola Alberghiera Istituto l I.P.S.A.R Luigi Carnacina, selected by a dedicated committee. Followed by a concert by the brass band *GIPFELBLECH* from Lana-Merano.
Sunday May 11th 2025
8:45 AM Kick-off of additional qualification matches, followed by the semi-final rounds.
12:15 PM – 1:45 PM Lunch.
2:15 PM Start of finals for all teams.
5:15 PM Awards ceremony on the field.
6:00 PM Departure of teams with a farewell until 2026.

Farewell and departure of all international teams from the airports and stations of Venice, Bergamo, Verona, and Milan.
Tuesday May 20th 2025
7:00 PM At Sala Bottaia, Cantina F.lli Zeni, a convivial gathering offered by the Organization for all hoteliers, restaurateurs, and business operators who contributed to the event.
Departure of all the foreign teams to vaiour airport (Bergamo- Venice- Verona.)
All the teams will play 10/11 games per total 2280 minutes in all 114 matches for 38 hours of play
Sports newspaper in Enghish, German and Italian. and for the first time also in teletext and national GAZZETTA DELLO SPORT.
